STRANGELOOP
STUDIOS
Strangeloop Studios is a Los Angeles-based visual content production company founded by audio-visual artist David Wexler and co-founder Ian Simon. Described as "a visual laboratory for future cinema," the studio is composed of animators, designers, producers, writers, musicians, and developers who specialize in creating immersive live visual experiences for the world's biggest artists. From their breakout moment at Coachella 2015 with Flying Lotus's pioneering LAYER3 3D show to three arena tours with The Weeknd, Strangeloop has redefined what concert visuals can be.
The studio's client list reads like a who's who of modern music and culture — Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, BLACKPINK, Erykah Badu, Pharrell, David Gilmour, Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris, and dozens more. Strangeloop prides itself on an improvisational approach to live visuals, riffing with artists in real time rather than locking content to a rigid set list. Their work sits at the intersection of film, music, technology, and fine art, pushing the boundaries of what audiences experience at a live show.
